EVE+POL is an independent live electronic/techno duo founded in 2024 by vocalist Evelina and producer Paul Ilea. The project is built around high-impact live performance, combining hardware instruments, modular synthesis, and expressive vocals in a controlled yet fully experimental format. Their sound moves between deep, dark club energy and emotionally driven elements, blending dub, techno, drum and bass, jungle, broken beat, rock, and experimental electronic textures.
Their releases include Promise (in two versions), LIKE THAT, Facelove, and their latest single Hai, each exploring their evolving sonic identity. In 2025, EVE+POL reached #1 in Romania on Radio Guerilla with LIKE THAT, quickly establishing as one of the most visible new live electronic acts in the region.
EVE+POL opened for ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U at Electric Castle on the Booha Stage and for Die Antwoord at Arenele Romane in Bucharest. Most recently, they performed at ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag), Teenage Engineering Superbooth Afterparty in Berlin and Alexis in Helsinki.
Their music has received international radio support, including airplay on Radio Helsinki with the track “Embrace” from Paul Ilea’s album “Atlantis” and a featured live special set on Obskur Radio in Canada. Beyond the club scene, EVE+POL created the electronic-classical performance Sync the Classics for the George Enescu International Festival.
Alongside EVE+POL, Paul Ilea and Evelina Negru also collaborate on music for film, television, and theater. Their work includes projects such as Brigada Nimic, Scara B, Romania’s Got Talent, and the immersive theater production Onirius by Gigi Căciuleanu. This cross-disciplinary experience strongly influences the duo’s artistic approach, shaping their focus on sound design, cinematic atmosphere, and emotional impact.
