If you are serious about your music and want to release independently; Make Waves is here for you.
Background

Make Waves was founded in 2021 in Amsterdam by two brothers to provide a better, more artist friendly and fair solution for self-released artists around the world.

Our founders have years of experience in building music platforms, artist management and music distribution; and they just really got tired of artists having to use the other platforms out there (like Tunecore, Distrokid, CDBaby, United Masters).

We never thought we would launch a DIY distributor but here we are. After working in the music industry for a long time now, we saw so many self released artists having to deal with a lot of bad workflows, not getting replied to and unnecessary costs whilst trying to get their music out to their fan base.

Combining our experience, we knew we had the skills and know-how to build something better for serious independent artists, so it felt like we just had to do it. It would be unfair to all these artists making great songs to not give them a better platform to release their music on. Artists just deserve an easier and more friendly experience when releasing music independently.
